Department description: Age defined specialty of dentistry that deals with the clinical examination, diagnosis, treatment planning, behavior management and delivering the treatment for the children till 13 years of age with utmost care and focus mainly on the preventive aspect.

Objectives: Our objective is to make the department of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry, an example of excellence in dental education and provide students with more opportunities to ensure that all the students are epitome in this field

LAB EQUIPMENTS: Plaster dispenser, Model Trimer, Lab micro motor, Vibrator, Dental Lathe, Pressure moulding machine.

CLINICAL EQUIPMENTS: Endo motor, Apex locator, Injectable gutta percha with condensation, Radiovisiography, Intra Oral Camera, Pulp Tester-Digital, Rubber dam kit for pedo, Amalgamator, Needle Burner with syringe cutter, Ultrasonic cleaner, Autoclaves
